RTS Cambridge sees the first 360 degree magic trick

BBC Click Presenter Spencer Kelly demonstrated the 'first' 360 degree magic trick at the RTS Cambridge Convention.

BBC Click's Spencer Kelly showed RTS audiences at the Cambridge Convention how a magic trick can be done when wearing a virtual reality headset with 360 degree cameras.

The latest smartphone technology aims to change the television industry by transforming how we watch video.

When asked to put the headset on during the “Rise of the Smartphones” session, RTS President Sir Peter Bazalgette said that the 360 degree cameras were very effective in showing him how the illusion was done.

The trick has been created by Objective Production’s Head of Magic, Anthony Owen and was filmed by VR specialists, Visualise.
