RTS Cymru Wales is excited to announce an all-new live Question and Answer event with the team behind the ITV prime-time documentary The Real Anne: Unfinished Business. We'll discuss the film’s conception, filming, the crafting of such a sensitive story, and the challenges of editing remotely.

Hillsborough is Britain's worst sporting disaster – in which 97 men, women, and children died.

The ITV documentary tells the remarkable battle of Merseyside mum and campaigner Anne Williams, who lost her son Kevin.

For nearly three decades, she fought the English establishment to expose the truth of what really happened at Hillsborough, and to try and get justice for the 97.

As a companion film to the drama Anne, Maxine Peake, who plays the titular role, immerses herself in her story – speaking to family, survivors and countless others.

The documentary combines archive and interviews to tell this compelling story.

Your Q&A line-up is as follows:

  • Edit Produced by Claire Savage (ITV Tonight; The Real Des: The Dennis Nilsen Story; Manhunt: The Raoul Moat Story)
  • Produced and Directed by Iwan Roberts (The Real Des: The Dennis Nilsen Story; Code Blue; Murder, Manhunt: The Raoul Moat Story)
  • Edited by Rahim Mastafa (A Killing in Tiger Bay; The Real Des: The Dennis Nilsen Story; Travel Man: 48 Hours In...)
  • Director of Photography Aled Jenkins (The Real Des: The Dennis Nilsen Story; BAFTA Cymru best camera; Patagonia with Huw Edwards)
