This award recognises outstanding work by an individual in the related fields of graphics and titling — title sequences for TV programmes, trailers for programmes, TV commercial, online bumper or viral production.  It includes content across any platform, including regional, national, international and digital formats — in any genre.  Entries may include live action footage and/or they may be stand-alone graphics.

WINNER:
Shmay Tan, Motion Control Graphic Designer/Editor, SJW Films

NOMINEES:
Richard Murton
, Motion Graphics Designer
Darren Bykerk, Motion Graphics Designer

The Judges said:

We found Darren Bykerk's work good if a little static.  The ITV work stood out as the best part of his portfolio.  The Scrolling and After Effects were good.  Richard Murton's portfolio was one of the stronger entries for this category, although the briefs this entrant had were perhaps more interesting than for some of the others.  The Pukka work in particular worked effectively with the brand.

But Shmay Tan's submission was a very strong portfolio, with great energy.  The briefs were interpreted well, and visually this was the strongest work submitted.  The Judges particularly said that it was great to see some live action in an entry for this category.  It was a good portfolio — one piece so seamless that you couldn’t tell where the work had been done.
