We all remember that one programme that defined our childhood. For any '90s kid, shows like SM:tv Live are as much a part of childhood as chicken drumsticks and taken up hems. Generations are shaped by the programmes they watch as kids but according to industry research, children's TV is in decline.
Pact, which represents the commercial interests for U.K. indie producers, and The Ragdoll Foundation have highlighted that the system "is failing children" as investment in original content has "plummeted" over the last decade.
