The Madame Blanc Mysteries has been commissioned for a fourth series.

The cozy crime drama will return for a seven-episode run, including a Christmas special. As well as airing on Channel 5 in the UK, it will also be available on British-American streamer Acorn TV, which is owned by AMC.

Set in the fictional village of Sainte Victoire in the south of France, the show is created by and stars Sally Lindsay (Love Rat) as Jean White. Helping her solve crimes are sidekick Dom Hayes (Steve Edge), with co-writer Sue Vincent (Shameless) also appearing as mechanic Gloria Beaushaw.

Robin Askwith (Benidorm) and Sue Holderness (Only Fools and Horses) will reprise their roles as married couple Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James. Alex Gaumond (Derry Girls) will be returning as Police Chief André Caron, as will Tony Robinson (Blackadder) as Dom’s Uncle Patrick and Paul Elliott (ChuckleVision) as Gloria’s dad, Trevor.

The new series will also feature guest appearances, details of which will be revealed in due course.

“Our team could not be more thrilled to bring you a brand new season of sunshine, laughs and antiques,” said Sally Lindsay. “All the gang are back with some more fantastic surprise guests visiting St. Victoire and we can’t wait for you all to enjoy soon.”

The Christmas special will air on Channel 5 and Acorn TV in 2024, while the rest of the series will be broadcast in 2025.
