Channel 4 has commissioned a new property show entitled Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Celebrating the best of Britain’s visionaries, eccentrics and proud-to-be different homeowners, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will bring his distinctly flamboyant interior design nous as he explores some extraordinary properties.
The four-part series will see LLB meet people who value originality when fearlessly decorating their homes with outlandish vision. Visiting properties across the UK with wild, wonderful and outrageous domestic décor, the host aims to discover why the homeowners dare to be so different with their designs, how they did it, and how much it all cost.
Laurence will also meet some of the architects, designers and decorators who helped bring the bold and creative visions to life.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen said: “Huzzah! At last, a property show that turns its back on Delusions of Blandeur and instead celebrates homes that take OTT to another level of FABULOUS. In fact, we’ll be filming in spaces of such OUTRAGEOUSNESS I’ll be the most understated thing on screen which is, let’s face it, an extraordinary achievement…”
Deborah Dunnett, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: “This is an altogether different property series. So as the epitome of extravagance and eccentricity, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is the perfect person to host it. Who wants uniformity anyway?”
Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is produced by Salford based production company Beyond Productions North.
