Krishnan Guru-Muruthy will host the live studio discussion Brexit: What The Nation Really Thinks for Channel 4 in November.

The discussion will take place in Birmingham, the most evenly split city in Britain in the EU referendum, and cover a range of issues such as immigration, the economy and Northern Ireland.

As the Brexit deadline nears, many are calling for a second referendum to give the public a final say on Britain’s future relations with the EU.

The programme will present and explore Channel 4’s exclusive Survation poll on the public’s opinion on Brexit’s key issues.

It is the largest independent poll on Brexit since the referendum, with responses from approximately 20,000 people from every constituency.

Guru-Murthy will interview a range of politicians, as well as polling expert Sir John Curtis, who will dissect the poll’s findings and discuss the ways issues like immigration have impacted Britain’s decision on EU membership.

Channel 4 Commissioning Editor Alex Gardiner said: “This debate will stimulate important and insightful discussion with a wide variety of views from the panel and audience. Issues around Brexit now have a prominent position in the national conversation, with ever changing focal points.

“Channel 4 is well known for exploring challenging and political issues on a fair and balance way and with this programme we want to help audiences understand the true sentiment of the British people.”

Brexit: What The Nation Really Thinks will air on Channel 4 on Monday 5th of November.
