Keith Massey, the RTS Yorkshire Lifetime Achievement Award 2010 recipient, is to be awarded an honorary doctorate from York St John University.
Keith Massey, who was presented with the RTS Yorkshire Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 is to be awarded an honorary doctorate from York St John University.
Starting out as a stills photographer for the York Press, Keith has had an extraordinary career behind the camera. Starting with a trip to Borneo in 1964, Keith has built a reputation as one of the best Directors of Photography in the business. With a career that has spanned news, documentaries and drama, Keith is a deserving recipient of the honour.
The doctorate will be awarded to him on the 19th of November, at York Minster when he will become a Doctor of Letters. Also honoured in the three day celebration will be Andrew Marr, Una Stubbs, David Bradley and Sir Gary Verity.
