Following the huge success of An Audience With Adele, helped in no small part by Emma Thompson's dance moves, ITV has announced a new edition with 'Princess of Pop' Kylie Minogue.
The one-off special will follow the same format that won ITV a peak of 5.4 million viewers when it aired in November 2021. Minogue will perform a live set of her greatest hits, including her latest dance pop chart topper Padam Padam, while intermittently answering a series of questions posed by her VIP guests, including celebrity superfans.
ITV also promise a night of "stunning" choreography.
The red carpet will be rolled out on Friday 1 December 2023 at the Royal Albert Hall, with both an audience of both A-listers and fans invited to the recording. Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday 8 September.
Mingoue said: “I’m so excited to announce that I am teaming up with ITV for An Audience with at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall!
“I’ll be performing some of my favourite tracks from throughout my career and no doubt answering some surprising questions from the audience. I can’t wait to share this moment with you all.”
Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, will be producing the show in tandem with BMMG. Fiona Clark, Creative Director at Lifted, said: “An Audience with is the ultimate night in and night out all in one, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the icon that is Kylie to this legendary show.”
Minogue will be looking back on a career that has spanned five decades. Selling over 80 million records worldwide, she is the most successful Australian female recording artist of all time.
An Audience with Kylie will air on ITV1, ITVX and STV and STV Player later in 2023.
