Veteran broadcaster and occasional ballroom dancer John Sergeant will host this year's RTS Programme Awards.

The black tie event recognises the best British programmes, writers and performers.

The cream of British television talent will gather at a glittering dinner and ceremony on Tuesday 17 March 2015 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

BBC One's Happy Valley is nominated in three categories, while Garys Neville and Lineker are up against Hazel Irvine for the award for Sports Presenter, Commentator or Pundit. To see the full list of nominees, click here.

Last year Olivia Colman picked up the award for Female Actor for the second year running for her roles in Broadchurch (ITV) and Run (Channel 4), while Idris Elba won the Male Actor award for his role in Luther (BBC One). Broadchurch also received the award for Drama Serial.
