Applications are now being accepted for the Grace Wyndham Goldie (BBC) Trust fund.

The fund exists to help those engaged in broadcasting or an associated activity, now or in the past, as well as their children and dependants.

The Trustees will consider awarding grants towards educational costs in small ways, such as travelling expenses, school outfits, books and additions to educational awards.

The trust fund was created in memory of Grace Wyndham Goldie, who mentored many well-known BBC broadcasters, including Huw Wheldon, David Frost and Richard Dimbleby, and pioneered the coverage of politics and current affairs on television.

Those wishing to apply for the award should visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/charityappeals/about/grants/grace-wyndham-goldie.

Applications must arrive no later than the 31 July 2015
