Around 50 people attended our Christmas Quiz at the Cameo Club in Pontcanna, Cardiff, hosted very ably by Ruth Wignall, ITV Cymru Wales Weather Presenter, with prizes generously donated by Felinfoel Brewery.

There were seven teams, which included staff and freelancers from BBC Cymru Wales, BBC Studios, Sugar Films, Boomerang, Gorilla, Wildflame Productions, Hoot Post Production and Loosemores Solicitors.  They bravely tackled a range of very challenging questions set by committee member Ed Russell, covering British Sitcoms, Doctor Who in Wales, Agatha Christie, Top of the Pops along with a picture round and a ‘who is the eldest?’ round.  

The winning team was ‘The Sugarbeebs’, made up of staff from BBC Studios and Sugar Films with second prize going to ‘Quizzle-Toe and Wine’ and third prize going to, ‘So How Will You Vote in a Second Referendum?’ who also took the prize for the most original name.

The RTS Wales Committee would like to thank, Felinfoel Brewery, the staff and management at the Cameo Club, Pontcanna for their hard work and everyone else who contributed to what was a very enjoyable evening.
