This award is designed to celebrate the use of content and technology in an expanding and changing world. Entries will demonstrate they are reaching out successfully to new audiences. They will be experimenting with technology and managing content in fresh ways. The award recognises outstanding achievement in the creative use of new technology to enhance user experience. Entries may be exploring new approaches to interactive communication. The traditional roles of producers and audiences may be challenged. We welcome entries which demonstrate innovative user responses to content.

The Judges were looking for high quality, creative and original approaches to the production process, demonstrating new technical thinking. They asked what difference did this innovation make to the production process? How was audience experience impacted by this innovation? What is the potential for further development?

Judges wanted to see outstanding innovation in digital content across any platform or combination of platforms, breaking new ground in digital media. They also considered reactions of audiences to this innovation. Individuals, groups or partnerships could enter.
