BT has announced a series of exciting improvements to its TV app for Apple and Android promising new channels, a kids’ section and a large library of on demand content.
BT’s Antonia Barton promised that “the new BT TV app is much better all round – it is much easier to use and gives you great TV shows to enjoy when you are out and about. Plus there’s so much more content.”
All BT TV customers can download the BT TV app which includes a dedicated kids' section of streamed on demand and catch up shows including SpongeBob SquarePants on Nickelodeon and Doc McStuffins from Disney Junior.
Other improvements include the incorporation of six live streamed premium entertainment UKTV channels (Alibi, Eden, GOLD, Good Food, Home and Watch) and the Sony Channel into the app
The updated app also offers a new Subscription Catch Up service with hit shows from up to 20 premium entertainment channels including AMC, HISTORY®, MTV, Syfy and others. This means BT TV customers will have access to shows like Manhattan, Ex on the Beach and Killjoys, as well as even more content from the expanding BT library.
The app can be linked to a YouView+ box, allowing users to set recordings when they are out and about by using the app’s search function for live streamed and on demand content.
The BT TV app is available now for iOS and Android.
