What are the implications of independence for broadcasting in Scotland? What would happen to BBC Scotland, STV, Channel 4 and the people who work for them in the event of a ‘Yes’ vote? What would the proposed Scottish Broadcasting Service deliver? And what price would we pay for EastEnders, X Factor and David Attenborough?

The politician who would be responsible for implementing the new broadcasting regime is Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Culture in the Scottish Government. In a special event she addresses the Royal Television Society Scotland and discusses these and other key issues. John MacKay of STV is in the chair.
