I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp host Joel Dommett and voice of Love Island Iain Stirling are among the group of comedy stars taking a literal road trip of their lifetimes.
The Comedy Bus (w/t) will follow six comedians as they travel to each of their hometowns to see how they have changed over the years.
Joining Dommett and Stirling for a trip down memory lane are Mock the Week regular Tom Allen, Suzi Ruffell, Darren Harriott and Kiri Pritchard-Mclean.
The series will be produced by Sacha Baron Cohen and Andrew Newman’s company Spelthorne Community Television
“I absolutely love the idea behind this format,” said Louise Holmes, Vice President, General Manager, Comedy Central UK.
“Everyone has a past – and a hometown – and now we get the chance to delve into the embarrassing secrets and fascinating insights of both from a comedy perspective.”
This commission follows Comedy Central UK’s drive to showcase original programming including Russell Howard & Mum: Globetrotters.
The six-part series will be filmed in the UK across January and will air on Comedy Central UK later in 2019.
