The three-part series, written and created by Sherlock’s Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, will be a reintroduction to literature’s most famous vampire as he plans to cause chaos in Victorian London.

Moffat and Gatiss said, “There have always been stories about great evil. What’s special about Dracula, is that Bram Stoker gave evil its own hero.”

Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70 will be a one off special that will examine the many duties and responsibilities the Prince of Wales has fulfilled over the last year.

Documenting the journey of the longest-serving heir to the throne is film-maker John Bridcut, who has followed The Prince of Wales’ work from within the UK and abroad, giving Bridcut exclusive behind the scenes access and interviews with HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, and his sons, the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex.

Otherwise known as the ‘Balaclava Man’, Corbett and Lisa McQueen (Rochenda Sandall) are on AC-12’s wanted list, and set to cause trouble as part of a criminal syndicate connected to police corruption.

An adaptation of the fourth novel in the book series, Lethal White sees the return of private eye Cormoran Strike (Tom Burke) and Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger) as they investigate a new case.

The four-part drama centres around Billy, a young man in mental distress who is haunted by a crime that he witnessed during his childhood, and seeks Strike’s help.

Although Billy’s recollection of events lacks important details, Strike is still greatly unsettled by these memories.

The award-winning show will up the ante this series, with challenges sending contestants all across the UK and overseas. 

Their first task begins with the contestants jetting off to Malta, to purchase nine items for the cheapest prices. “Remember, this is NOT a holiday,” Lord Sugar warned the contestants, “expect the unexpected."

The two-part drama for BBC One sees the actor take on the part of Joseph Merrick, who got the unkind moniker due to severe facial and body deformities.

The Elephant Man follow’s Merrick’s extraordinary journey from his working-class beginnings in Leicestershire into the freak shows that made him famous, and on to his time at the London Hospital and his friendship with Dr Frederick Treves.

Treves saw Merrick exhibited in a shop in 1884 and brought him to the London Hospital where he lived until his death in 1890, aged 27.

Surrogacy is a personal journey for the Olympic diver and his husband Dustin Lance Black as they welcomed a child through a surrogate earlier this year, becoming one of the increasing number of parents who have children through surrogacy.

The documentary will also see the diver travel to European countries where surrogacy is completely illegal and across the pond to California, where commercial surrogacy is a common choice for many parents.

As he approaches 50, Mack reflected on his career in discussion with Shane Allen, the BBC’s controller of comedy commissioning, at an RTS North West event.

Allen introduced Mack as “a natural comedy brain” and there is a good reason for this: Mack is currently writing his 10th series of Not Going Out – and he let on that he is in talks with Allen to make a further two.
