Richard Walker

Shooting Researcher

Richard Walker is a Shooting Researcher working on a variety of factual and children’s productions.

Studying Television Production at the University of Gloucestershire, he began running on shows such as The Voice and Britain’s Got Talent in his 2nd year of University. After graduating, he got a place on the prestigious Channel 4 Production Training Scheme as a Trainee Researcher.


Since then he’s worked on programmes including Come Dine With Me and CBBC’s Our School, his first shooting researcher role. He’s since shot for BBC’s Rip Off Britain and Channel 5’s Motorway Cops. Currently shooting and editing ten films for BBC Teach.


He’s recently made the move to Manchester looking to focus on developing his self-shooting.
