Senior Development Producer at Lifted Entertainment
Laura Navarro is a Senior Development Producer with over a decade of experience in the TV industry across both development and production. She’s passionate about turning ideas into compelling TV and championing new voices entering the industry.
She has helped develop and secure commissions across a wide range of genres, including: reality entertainment format The Neighbourhood; hidden camera prank show Celebrity Sabotage; fact ent kids’ competition Show Me The Honey!; travelogue Alison & Larry: Billericay to Barry; police access series Dog Detectives; and thought-provoking documentary Disability and Abortion: The Hardest Choice.
Her early production highlights include spending a week in Morocco with Matt LeBlanc on Top Gear, trying on a real (used) space suit on It’s Not Rocket Science, dressing Brian McFadden in increasingly ridiculous costumes on Who’s Doing the Dishes?, and hitting up the red carpets of The Brit Awards, BBC Music Awards, and Sport Relief.
Outside of work, Laura is passionate about music. She performed for two years in London’s West End in operas, recorded vocals at Abbey Road Studios for a movie soundtrack, and sang live at the Globe Theatre during the 2022 New Year’s Eve fireworks display on BBC1.
