Kate is a freelance Producer/Director and Development Exec. Before going freelance, Kate was a very successful Head of Development at BBC Bristol. Kate has a reputation as a ‘business winner’, and past commissions include high volume, returnable series for BBC Features and Daytime and one-off Arts and Music docs for BBC One, BBC Four and ITV. Before working at the BBC Kate worked in production and development at various indies – including Iambic Media and Aardman Animations. Kate also writes and develops drama. She has had short plays performed at Bristol Old Vic and Sherman Cymru and has recently been invited by Jimmy McGovern to put ideas in for the next series of BBC One daytime drama Moving On.
