Founded in 2010, Los Angeles-based Kinetic Content creates and produces content for the global market.
Led by Emmy nominated founder and CEO Chris Coelen, Kinetic produces the top-rated series for multiple platforms, including global smash hits Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, and Perfect Match – every season of each series has earned Netflix’s number one ranking in territories around the world. Kinetic’s Married At First Sight is the most-watched entertainment program on cable on Wednesday nights, and has been Lifetime’s highest-rated series since premiering on the network. Kinetic’s slate includes upcoming projects for multiple partners including Netflix, Lifetime, Amazon’s Prime Video, Hulu, Bravo, E!, ABC, HBO Max, and Peacock.
In August 2020, Kinetic Content (with then parent company German based Red Arrow Studios), announced a new joint venture in Los Angeles focusing on developing elevated scripted TV series with global appeal for the US marketplace. Melissa Myers was recruited from WME, where she was a partner and spearheaded and oversaw the international division, to head the new global joint venture tapping into her extensive international scripted content knowledge.
The company’s creative focus is working with gifted creators and discovering new voices/worlds to amplify for premium high-end, English-language scripted TV series targeting both domestic and international audiences– as well as leaning into the parent company's strengths: Kinetic Content’s hit marriage, relationship and social experiment brand, serving the US scripted market while utilizing those shows tremendous global reach. In 2022, Kinetic Content was acquired by Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company.
