We are delighted to be joined by some of the cast and crew from the compelling new BBC drama Reunion. This bilingual series filmed in and around Sheffield features both British Sign Language (BSL) and spoken English, is written by Sheffield-born Billy Mager and has been produced by Warp Films.
The series follows the journey of Brennan, a deaf man determined to right his wrongs, while unravelling the truth behind the events that led him to prison.
The emotionally resonant series not only challenges conventional storytelling norms by utilising a mix of spoken English and BSL throughout, but also showcases the power of redemption and the enduring bonds of family.
The event will feature a fantastic panel, and we will learn more about the making of the drama and the experience of working with cast and crew using both BSL and Spoken English to communicate.
This event will use BSL interpreters for the panel Q&As.
