Thanks to Formula E’s state-of-the-art electric cars, London hosts a unique race track that weaves both inside and outside the Excel.  The race starts inside the ExCeL Centre and flows seamlessly outside along the Royal Docks, then back in again — a world first for top-level international motorsport.

Organising and filming such a race are massive logistical and technical challenges. Camera placements, lighting adjustments, RF signal transitions, and on-the-fly production decisions all make this a broadcast engineering feat, which is why it's such a draw for those in the media and tech industries.

This exclusive RTS London event offers a rare glimpse into the broadcast and production engine behind the race, led by experts from Formula E and Aurora Media, the award-winning team behind the global coverage.

 

The 'inside track' experience includes:
* A guided walk along part of the track
* A visit to the live production studios
* Behind-the-scenes insight into the tech that powers race day
* Panel Session + Q&A

This event begins with a tour at 4 pm, followed by refreshments and a panel session at 6:30 pm
