Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers

Next month will mark 20 years to the day since the 7/7 attack in London. This documentary hears from survivors, as well as then-Prime Minister Tony Blair and Eliza Manningham-Buller, MI5’s director general from 2002-07.

The documentary also touches on the failed terror attack that was attempted two weeks after 7/7, and the culture of fear both incidents helped create in the city.

UEFA Women’s Euros 2025

The UEFA Women’s Euros kick off with Iceland v Finland, with other fixtures taking place throughout the week. You’ll have to wait until Saturday to see England play, though, when they’ll be taking on France at 8.00pm.

The games are being split, with some broadcast on ITV and others on BBC One and Two. For BBC fixtures this week, look out for Belgium v Italy on BBC Two (5.00pm on Thursday) and Wales v Netherlands on BBC One (5.00pm on Saturday).

Iceland v Finland on Wednesday, 5.00pm on ITV1

Abbott Elementary

The most chaotic school in West Philadelphia returns with the final batch of episodes from series four.

The construction of a golf course is continuing to cause problems, and the school district is starting to take notice. Principal Ava Coleman (Janelle James, Tuca & Bertie) finds herself in hot water, but the rest of the school are there to help. There’s also a few efforts to raise money to (literally) keep the lights on, and a particularly memorable school play.

Wednesday on Disney+

Ghosts US

Series four of the American take on the beloved sitcom from the Them There collective (also known for their work on Horrible Histories) comes to Blighty.

As usual, Sam and Jay Arondekar (Rose McIver, Masters of Sex, and Utkarsh Ambudkar, The Dropout) have a lot on their supernatural plate. This time round, there’s bleeding walls, Faustian bargains and spiritual kidnappings to contend with. You know, usual housemate stuff. Oh, and a quick flashback to the drafting of the Declaration of Independence.

Wednesday on BBC iPlayer

Such Brave Girls

Kat Sadler’s gloriously unhinged sitcom returns.

The show takes an Always Sunny-style approach to its characters: there is no straight man, because everyone is too busy scheming. The issues is nobody’s any good at it. Money problems are piling up for Josie (Sadler), Billie (Lizzie Davidson) and mum Deb (Louise Brealey, Sherlock), so the pressure is on. What they come up with – like an abduction plot – might not pay the mortgage, but on the bright side, it will be deeply humiliating for everyone involved.
