The apocalypse is back, and more fungal than ever.
Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie, two people trying to make it through the end of the world. Series one ended with Joel saving Ellie's life when he realised that developing a vaccine would involve killing her. Ellie isn't exactly grateful, given that this may have doomed humanity to lose to the cordyceps parasite, which turns people into the zombie-like ‘infected’. As Joel's about to find out, she's not the only one with a bone to pick with him.

Criminologist Lejla Ness (Léonie Vincent) wants to keep a trip back home as brief as possible. Just show her face at a family funeral and go. However, that plan quickly goes out the window when a girl is reported missing.
Helping with the investigation will prove tough for Ness, who was abducted as a child in the very same town. The people who used to be her neighbours still remember, making a minor celebrity of someone who would much rather be forgotten.

#1 Happy Family USA
Thursday
Prime Video
In the aftermath of 9/11, being Muslim in noughties New Jersey suddenly gets harder, and it was never exactly easy to begin with.
Luckily for one family, patriarch Hussein Hussein (voiced by Ramy Youssef, co-creator of Ramy and Mo) has a solution. They will simply become the most patriotic and least suspicious family in America, before you can say “Yankee Doodle Dandy”. Together, they hope to win over the white people in their community, including their neighbour, who just happens to be an FBI agent.
