The Royal Television Society Northern Ireland (RTS NI) is delighted to announce it is now accepting submissions for its 2025 Awards.

The aim of the RTS NI Awards is to recognise and promote high quality television production by independent producers, broadcasters and freelancers in Northern Ireland.

Entries must have been screened, streamed, broadcast or published between 1 June 2024 and 30 June 2025. 

 

The 2025 RTS NI Award Categories are:

3.Breakthrough Award (On-Screen Talent)

4.Children's / Animation

5.Comedy

6.Current Affairs

7.Documentary

8.Drama

9.Entertainment

10.Factual Entertainment Format

11.Hidden Hero

12.Individual Post-Production - Craft

13.Lifestyle and Features

14.News Coverage

15.Original Music Score

16.Specialist Factual

17.Writer

18.Brian Waddell for Outstanding Contribution

 

Judging in each category will be carried out independently by an experienced panel of judges with the finalists being announced in Autumn 2025 ahead of the winners being announced at the 10th RTS NI Awards Ceremony at Titanic Belfast on Tuesday 11 November 2025.
