The Marlow Murder Club will return for a third series, UKTV has confirmed, with filming now underway.
Samantha Bond (Outnumbered), Jo Martin (Doctor Who), Cara Horgan (Disobediance) and Natalie Dew (Archer) are all set to reprise their roles, along with fellow Marlow alumni Holli Dempsey (Call the Midwife), Phill Langhorne (Red Joan) and Tijan Sarr (Shadow and Bone).
The six-part series offers up three new mysteries. No-one in the usually-sleepy Buckinghamshire is safe, be they the mayor, a celebrity chef or a someone who just wanted to enjoy a university reunion.
Episodes one and two will be based on Queen of Poisons, the third in Robert Thorogood’s series of novels that inspired the series. Thorogood will co-write the first two episodes with Daniel Rusteau, while episodes three and four will be penned by Amy Reith. Julia Gilbert will write episodes five and six.
“We cannot wait to bring viewers a third series of The Marlow Murder Club,” Emma Tibbetts, UKTV’s director of programming for drama, added. “Audiences have truly embraced this charming crime drama, and it’s a joy to continue the journey with our much-loved characters. It promises even more surprises, wit, and the irrepressible sleuthing trio that fans have come to adore.”
Series three of The Marlow Murder Club will be available on U and U&Drama in 2026.
