Visit to Celtic Prop Hire
On the 12th October, RTS members and their guests were shown around the largest prop hire company in Wales by Natalie Rolley. (above).  Because numbers were limited, we restricted the visit to members, and didn't advertise it online.  Join us to have the opportunity to go on future visits!

RTS Student Television Awards 2015
The Awards, which recognise the best in student television from across the UK, have now been opened to nominations.  Please note that the closing date for entries is Friday 25 September.  There have been some changes to the criteria this year, with the launch of a News category, and this year, for the first time, you will be required to submit entries on-line.

August Event
The subject of our annual event at the National Eisteddfod this year was Rural Superfast Broadband, (Band Eang Gwledig Cyflym Iawn).  That was on the 4th August on the Maes at Meifod, Montgomeryshire.

We had two events on the card for this month.  On the12th we were at the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, where Phil George discussed his film, My Grandfather Dylan.

Post Production at Digital Media Training.
For our April event, we arranged to have demonstrations of the latest software and hardware which can be used to produce, edit and grade productions.  Paul Hawke-Williams outlined the various editing techniques now available for programme makers.  That was on April 27th.

RTS Wales Student Television Awards 2014
RTS Wales Student AwardsOn the 27th March we once again presented our annual Awards as part of the Zoom International Youth Film Festival, which took place between the 23rd and 27th March at seven venues across the South Wales valleys.
Our Awards were presented as part of the Zoom Young Filmmaker Awards event at Bridgend College.
The winners, along with the nominees and the adjudications of the judges, can now be downloaded. (Word doc.)
