Theresa Wise has been CEO of the Royal Television Society since March 2013.
During that time she has transformed the Society to a vibrant connected modern organization – building new teams, digital capability and renewed focus on membership, the nations and regions and young people. She initiated the RTS bursary scheme which supports young people from low income backgrounds studying at undergraduate level who wish to enter the television industry.
Prior to joining the RTS, Theresa held positions as SVP Corporate Strategy for Disney EMEA and previously, she was a Partner in Accenture’s Media and Entertainment Practice.
Theresa holds an MBA from London Business School and an MA in Classics from the University of Oxford.
Her hobbies are watching television (very useful in the role!), scuba diving, pilates, yoga and spending time with her family and her partner’s family.
